I briefly read through the first part of out new reader-Fahrenheit 451. Didn't quite get it at the first time I read it, many parts contain quite some thinking. Somehow I was caught by the words and mood as I read through the pages. A lot of figurative language and neat details were added, the usage of words catches readers' sight easily. I kept flipping back and force between pages I didn't really get or feel like reading again- and to be honest, I'm not really an efficient reader- so yes, the section took me quite a while to finish.Although this part of the story seems to stop a rising point, I believe Ray Bradbury must have added some foreshadows for the later parts of the story-make me expecting to read more:)
A good book, in my definition, is something that catches our mind at first sight and make you want to read it from daybreak to sunset. And Ray Bradbury make it:)
