Macbeth - Reflection

We finish reading Macbeth this week- the shorten version ofcourse....which was about 25 pages. It's pretty enough to let us understand the story although all of the words Shakespear originally used were changed I suppose. The story basicly talked about land lord Macbeth who desiered of power but was too scared to seize it from others. The first plot in the story starts with three witches telling Macbeth his future. I believe this foreshadows what will happened next in the story. Eventualy Macbeth tells his wife- a controlling woman- what the witches had told him. She insists Macbeth to gain the power by killing the king. They committed the crime together and later became very nersous and scared about everything. The guilt basicly overwhelmed the couple and the story brings to an end at the point which lady Macbeth can't stand the pressure anymore and Macbeth was killed by the king's son-Macduff-out of of revenge. The play focused on how Macbeth tried to gain power and control but eventually failed. It represented the realistic side of the dark side of human nature- greedy, scardy, seize power...etc.
